Poljica is the second largest village in the Vrsi Municipality. It is situated west of Ravni Kotari and 3 kilometers from the seaside. The village area covers 12.24 square kilometers and it has 945 inhabitants. There are no historical documents about Poljica except some old church registers.
Due to its geographical position, we can find two diverse cultural influences of Northern Dalmatia in Poljica; one from the Dinara Mountain and the other one from the Adriatic Sea. There are two churches in the village.
Poljica is the green oasis of the Municipality. Its inhabitants are predominantly engaged in agriculture: fruit, vegetables, grapes, olives and figs.
